Episode 9: Breaking Down A Beef Tenderloin

This episode is designed to safe you money!  By breaking down your own meats, you can save a lot of money, and get some great products to boot!  We picked up this Tenderloin at Costco for only $9 a pound!  The cleaned and trimmed one came in at $13, and we ended up saving about $25!  Why would you now want to learn how to eat Tenderloin on a Chuck budget!

    I am sure you will nail it C!
    As far as what to do with the chain, I pick out the best of the meat, and it makes for a great stock. Then I use that to make a stew or a bourgenion 🙂 Good luck!
